Plant Maintenance and Service Database

the situation

Our customer needed a database to control services and maintenance jobs on installed items in their plant.

the solution

This is a typical Access application. It stores all the items and groups them into locations and categories. Each item can have up to 3 service periods with their maintenance tasks attached. The software is able to automatically schedule services according to existing maintenance jobs already entered. An easy to read Maintenance Task List can be generated and printed as required. Further, a full text search option to track down abnormalities was also implemeted.
